Composing music at times can be tricky. However, with time
and patience mastering this form of art is possible. Becoming a great composer, you will need
dedication and the ability to work trough frustration. You have to have the dedication to learn more
than just the mere basics of composing.
Digging deeper and deeper into music theory will help you become a
well-rounded composer. Bettering your
knowledge in music theory can also help with becoming a stronger musician. For example, learning the relations of
different intervals in a certain chord progression will strengthen your
improvisational skills. Being able to
work through frustration takes a lot of self-discipline. You will come across plenty of times when you
start composing a song and find yourself stuck not knowing what to do
next. Worse, you may not even know where
to start at all. Do not stress about
this. No matter the style or genre of
music, we all face this problem from time to time. The best thing is to work through the
frustration and if hours start to pass by take a break. Come back to it later with a fresh mind. Remember some of the greatest songs took a
good amount of time to come together. As
tricky as it seems composing can become easy to do. With dedication time and patience, you can
become one of the best of the best composers.
Like a Mozart or Quincy Jones and be looked up to by the many
generations to come. Looking forward, we
will be discussing more about composing music.
We will talk about music theory.
For instance, different chord progression and cadences and how they may
relate to each other, counterpoint and many other topics within music
theory. We will also talk about how to
make it in the industry as a beginner and stand out from the competition.
